The grand champ, someone who we typically think deserves it and should be recognized for it, but this is not the case for WWE; or at least it isn't for me. Randy Orton, the viper, known for his grand finisher the RKO, holds the WWE championship which is now paired with the World Heavyweight Championship as well. Although, yes, this is a huge honor to hold these titles, Orton has completely changed after he received these. He no longer seems strong, he chickens out and is always looks for the easy way out.
Orton relies too heavy on the authority, who is Triple H, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and his wife Stephanie McMahon who both are in charge of many actions that occur on WWE. With this in mind, and being an old friend of Triple H, Orton feels they are to protect him and because Orton is the face of the WWE, he should be respected. However, when he acts out, especially like a baby when he complains, I don't think he should receive any of it.
If something goes awry and it is not in Orton's favor, he runs to the authority to complain and basically beg for help. Just last night on Monday night Raw, Orton stood in the center of the ring shouting at the audience to respect him. If he showed his strength instead of chickening out and whining about, he might just earn the respect he so wishes for. It wasn't long into his complaints when superstar Batista came out into the ring to remind Orton that Batista is after his title, which I mean, might not be a bad thing if Batista wins; maybe he will actually fight for his respect and not beg for it.
At the end of 2013, Orton and superstar John Cena were in a championship match at the TLC (tables, ladders and chairs) pay per view. As a great fight was nearing an end with exhaustion, Orton reached under the ring and discovered a pair of handcuffs which he would use to chain Cena to the ring leaving only one winner, Orton. Orton always seems to find loopholes to continually win back his title which he really doesn't deserve.
I am not saying he is a bad competitor, because he is a strong fighter, he just let the idea of being the face of the WWE get to his head, and he expects too many things to come out of it. He needs to man up, and earn the respect he so begs for, but who knows, he might lose it to someone else and it might be too late to for him to gain any respect; that'd be pretty nice because it's a little annoying hearing him complain every time he comes on screen or walks into the ring.

The Animal is Back
After almost 4 years of being away, Batista, also known as, David Michael "Dave" Bautista, Jr., has come back to join his family at the WWE. Debuting on Monday night Raw on December 23, 2013, with a stunning resemblance to the singer Pitbull, Batista brought the crowd to their feet when he cut off Randy Orton mid speech to come out. As Randy Orton babbled on about being "great" with his championship, something we have heard enough about as he whines and complains every week, Batista has something else in mind. Informing Orton that he was going to take the championship from Orton one day, Batista was ready to rumble; his plan was to win the Royal Rumble, pay per view.
Sunday, January 26, 2014, the night of the Royal Rumble and Batista was looking for the win. One by one superstars entered the ring beginning with CM Punk and their goal was to throw their opponents over the rope and be the last one standing. Out of thirty entrant, Batista was number twenty eight. With a bit of an advantage for being one of the last ones, Batista had a bit more energy than the other superstars like CM Punk who stayed in from the beginning.
As superstars flew over the rope, the final four stood together in the ring eyeing down the championship. The final four, made up of The Shields, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, who just made his reappearance at the rumble, CM Punk who went through over twenty men and the animal, Batista.
CM Punk and Sheamus were thrown over, Batista and Reigns stood face to face awaiting the championship, and Reigns was even recognized for setting a new single-elimination record of twelve. Through the sweat and pain, the final results and winner of the Royal Rumble was Batista.
Just like he told Randy Orton on the night of his debut in December, Batista planned on winning the rumble, succeeded and is now determined to go all the way and win the championship. Which I mean, hey, might not be a bad thing because Batista might not complain as much as Orton does. Batista may actually use his strength to come out on top instead of relying on the higher authority like the scared baby, Orton.
It seems that instead of Orton and John Cena fighting over the championship, it may be Orton and Batista since Cena lost at the Royal Rumble. Only time will tell who comes out on top as the true champion, but for now, Batista has come back to the industry stronger and better than ever; he is ready to win and continue winning.

The Industry
WWE, originally known to some as WWF, has been around for years and over time has only grown in popularity. According the Nielsen, the top ten television rating system, WWE falls in the top ten almost every week. The various shows of WWE beat out sport programs, and other popular cable shows during the week. The fan base of WWE is incredible and support their favorite superstars.
WWE is made up of three different weekly shows. Monday night Raw is their live weekly event, Friday night Smackdown is their end of the week extravaganza, and in the middle of the week is the Main Event, which although it is viewed, it is not as popular as their other shows. With every new state and city, WWE manages to set up each arena to look like the last one. With large light boards, fireworks and of course, the ring, WWE fans look forward to exciting nights.
Superstars enter the ring and push their bodies to limits not many people could endure, but not many people see it like this; they say it's fake and dumb even though it has such a large fan base.Well, yes, maybe each outcome of each fight is pre-determined, but it doesn't mean these men and women aren't actually getting hit. Look back in the day when these men would hide razor blades in their sweat bands to cut themselves during the match. Now, that's not fake. Each person has their own opinion on this industry and that will never come to an end.
WWE superstars "wow" the crowd every time they walk out from behind the light boards. Each having their own entrance song to give the crowd a heads up and really get their blood pumping. Some superstars even have their famous chants that go along with them, or special dance moves. Superstar Daniel Bryan has the famous "Yes" chant which is one of the most popular.
WWE Diva's, or the women of the industry are exciting to see, but do not really compare to the men. They lack the agility that the men bring to the ring, and the women are more for the eyes of the male viewer base. Slinky costumes don't really scream strength over entertainment.
WWE comes with its debates, and I'm sure there will be agreements and disagreements, but who cares, really? The main point of this industry is entertainment which is through fights, drama and excitement. They have been around for years, they are still here and they aren't planning on ending this industry any time soon.
